Voluntary donations
A donation is a voluntary gift supporting the organisation and campaign. It is not a purchase of goods or a property interest. A donor does not acquire ownership, naming, governance, or another benefit unless this is separately documented in writing.
Receipts and refunds
Receipt handling, if available for a route, is managed through the receiving entity or relevant payment route. If you have a question about a donation, receipt, or refund, contact the organisation promptly with the available payment details. Requests are considered on their circumstances and under applicable law and route terms. This page does not set a blanket no-refund rule.
Tax and campaign changes
Chabad New Zealand Hebrew Charitable Trust is registered with Charities Services as CC52221. New Zealand individual donors may generally be eligible for an Inland Revenue donation tax credit where their gift and receipt meet the current Inland Revenue requirements. Eligibility depends on the donor, the nature of the gift and applicable rules. Check current Inland Revenue guidance or seek your own tax advice. No tax outcome is guaranteed.
If the property process changes, any public handling of donations must follow the applicable approved terms and law; no unapproved outcome is promised here.
